This piece needs to be read by the masses, especially women. It tells a story, I'm sure, so many "silent" women have and are going through. It's a sad, shameful, and raw reality. You took their story and exposed its ugliness as it should be exposed!

Miss Felicia, Thank you for sharing this powerful message. It is one that we as women need to hear, it is one that all people need to hear. Once upon a time, many many years ago, I was a victim of domestic violence...the days before building Flava, I worked as a domestic violence advocate... Silence is a life we get used to living, it's sad, dark and lonely. Words, they are a powerful tool...they either can hurt us to the bone or lift us up to the stars. We need to be more careful in how we use "words"...Again, Thank you for sharing this piece.
